The parish of St. Afra, together with the diocesan academy Domschule, invites you to a varied anniversary program on "500 years of the Riemenschneider Altar in Maidbronn". This also includes a workshop for children aged 6 to 12 at the Museum für Franken. Behind the thick walls of Marienberg Fortress lie special treasures: Tilman Riemenschneider's works of art. Discover the secrets of the ancient figures and find out which tools were used to work the wood and stone. In the creative part, a clay figure will be sculpted inspired by the works of art.

The Museum für Franken, together with the Würzburg Castle and Garden Administration, invites you to the annual museum festival at Marienberg Fortress! All museum enthusiasts, time travelers, castle fans, parents, grandparents and families can look forward to an exciting program that will take them back to the world of life 500 years ago. Spread over two castle courtyards, numerous demonstrations, arts and crafts stalls and hands-on stations offer the opportunity to see, be amazed and get creative yourself.
