ART GOES STRANGE
...and shows its colors

When art shows its colors, it doesn't just have to be colorful and cheerful, it can also take a stand and express an opinion.
Perhaps it confronts the viewer with unpleasant things, but perhaps it also seduces them into enjoyment.
With these thoughts in mind, sixteen Lower Franconian museums invited visitors to see art in other, unfamiliar contexts from 22 July to 8 November 2020, to discover new museums and to experience the whole of Lower Franconia in all its colorful glory. At the same time, the tenth anniversary of the unique "Kunst geht fremd" network was celebrated.
