Sport - a topic that can cause both cheers and boos, that divides people into fans and detractors.
But whether joy or sorrow: sport always evokes emotions and everyone knows a story about it.
The most exciting, beautiful or extraordinary sports stories from Lower Franconia are the focus of the new exhibition of the district of Lower Franconia, which will be shown from August 5 to October 16 at the Museum für Franken, Würzburg. It tells of international successes, special friendships on the pitch, but also of defeats and the darker side of sport.

"Long live sport!"

In four exhibition rooms - a living room, a changing room, a sports field and a clubhouse - the exhibition presents the entire spectrum of sport. Four locations where sport is practiced, celebrated and discussed.
Numerous hands-on and media stations challenge all of the visitors' senses, ask for the best sports excuses and let sportsmen and sportswomen have their say.

So what are you waiting for?
